Thanks to those who have sent me info on this photo. It seems that it is an ex Luton Corporation Bristol RE 373 (PXE113G), the photo being taken at their depot after the take over by United Counties

From Ian Simpson at 2003-04-12 16:22:56 : Looking at the full sized image the fleetname can be read as United Counties. It's probably ex-Luton Corpy, as are the vehicles in the garage, so I suggest that the location too is Luton.
From J Heighway at 2003-04-13 16:28:51 : Yes, definitely ex Luton CT. If you look inside the depot you can see some low height DDs with the old Luton destination blind layout. This was obviously after takeover by UCOC. I've got a B&W photo of this vehicle somewhere.
From Jon at 2003-04-17 21:58:22 : Yes, definitely Luton, after the United Counies takeover in 1970. The RE in the photo is ex Luton Corp'n, as is the closest double decker, an Albion Lowlander. The next 'decker is a Bristol Lodekka LD, several of which were bought to replace the unreliable Lowlanders. In the far background you can just make out another Lowlander which is still in Luton Corporation's red livery. The venue is the UCOC ex Luton Corp'n depot in Luton town centre, which I believe Arriva may have recently vacated and sold for redevelopment.
From Jon at 2003-04-17 22:12:28 : Having looked at the slide two previous (CNV 00005)it looks like its not a Bristol LD after all but one of the Luton Dennis Lolines that was also in the fleet on United Counties takeover.
